11강 1. 불가산 명사

- 셀 수 없기 때문에 계량 단위를 붙여 사용함 => 그 계량 단위를 세는 것

- 공통단위

1) some

2) a lot of / lots of

3) much

4) little  : (불가산) 거의없는

5) a little : (불가산)  좀있는데 많진 않은

 

- 단위를 나타내는 단어 위주

ex

fruit(watermelon은 가산)

equipment(knif는 가산)

money(coin, bil은 가산)

furniture(chair은 가산)

clothing(pants는 가산)mail(post card, e-mail은 가산)

cf
animal은 단위지만 가산

 

 

- 그 외 불가산 명사 : 원재료의 형체가 없는 것 <- 입자 세밀함, 액체, 기체, 고체
* 모든 단위는 자주쓰이는 예시일뿐임 (더 많은 단위 가능)

butter => 단위 : sppon

cheese => 단위 : piece 

ice => 단위 : carton

cabbage => 단위 : head

soap => 단위 : bar 

tooth paste => 단위 : tube

flour => 단위 : glass

11강 1. 가산 명사

- 반드시 an,a,s,the 붙는 명사

- 공통단위

1)  a lot of / lots of

2) several

3) some

4) few : (가산)거의없는

5) a few : (가산)좀 있는데 많진 않은

 

 

두 가지 뜻으로 해석되는 단어

- 가산될 때가 있고 불가산일 때가 있는 단어

1. glass :

2. hair : 머리카락(불가산) / 머리에서 떨어지면 가산

ex

Your hair is going gray : 네 머리 점점 하얘진다

There is a hair on your jacket : 네 자켓에 머리 떨어져있어

3. lron : 철(불가산) / 다리미(가산)

4. light : 빛(불가산) / 전등(가산)

5. paper : 보고서(불가산) / 종이(가산)

6. time : 시간(불가산) / 횟수(가산)

7. work : 업무(불가산) / 작품 한 점 (계량 단위 = 가산)

8. coffee : 커피(불가산) / 커피숍의 커피(흔해서 = 가산)

11강 2. 관사

- 명사 앞에 위치함

- 부정관사 a an : 정해져 있지 않은 명사에 붙임 = 대화 당사자인 나만 알고 = 나도 모를지도

• 발음(아에이오우)에 따라 a나 an이 붙음 (스펠링기준 아님)
  ex
  i graduated a university(유)
  i'm doing an MBA(엠)
  he will here in an hour(아)
  there is an old building (어)
  an antrue story(언)
  

- 정관사 the : 정해져 있는 명사에 붙임 = 대화 당사자인 너도 알고 나도 알고

- 수량과 관련없이 불가산이여도 사용 가능

ex

i had fruit last night : (너가 모르는)과일 먹었어

i had the fruit last night : (너도 아는)그 과일 먹었어

The trees don't have leaves : (너도 아는)그 나무들 잎사귀가 없어

 

 

Other 형제

- other

• 형용사 역할 = 관사 다음, 명사 앞
• 명사 역할 

- another + 단수 = an + other = 한 개, 부정관사 an + 대화 참여자 전부가 아는건 아닌 명사

 

- the other = 단수  + 대화 참여자 모두 아는 명사

 

- others = 복수 + 대화 참여자 전부가 아는건 아닌 명사 (랜덤개념 포함)

 

- the others = 복수 = 대화 참여자 모두 아는 명사

 

- other = 불가산 명사 + 대화 참여자 전부가 아는건 아닌 명사(랜덤개념 포함)

 

- the other = 불가산 명사 + 대화 참여자 모두 아는 명사

 

ex

Do you have another cup? (모르지만 다른)컵 있어?Do you have other cups? (모르지만 다른) 컵들 있어?

 

ex

i have two brothers, One is naed Nick. the other is named Matt (이미 2명이라 언급 + 다른 나머지)
