7강 1편. 의문문

- 도치를 통해 문장을 만들 수 있음

- HOW를 사용한 의문문 만드는 것을 연구해야 함

 

 

7강 2편. HOW 역할과 가주어

- 도치 : 위치를 바꿔 쓰는 것

• 의문사로 도치 만들기 :
  ex) The island is small => is the island small? => How small is the island?

- how

• How + 동사 + 주어  : 어떻게
• How + 형용사 + 동사 + 주어 : 얼마나

- 운송 수단 나타내는 preposition : by

 

QnA

1) I got to school by bus. => how did u get to school?

2) He drives carefully => How does he dirve?

3) i am doing good => how are u doing?

4) i made it with soy sauce => How did u make it ?

5) i know her throguth a friend => How do you know her?

6) you can contact her via email  => How can contact her? 

 

QnA2 (How + 형용사)

1) The island is small => How small is the island?

2) my country is big => How big is ur country

3) Yoon is pretty => How pretty is Yoon?

4) I am tall => how tall are you?

5) DongDong is heavy => How heavy is Dongdong?

6) Usain bolt is fast  => How fast is Usain bolt?

 

 

- 가주어 : 주어가 길어질 경우 it을 사용하여 가주어로, 진주어는 to로 표현함

ex

• It is hard to live abroad => Is it hard to live abroad? => how hard is it to live abroad
• it is fun to listen to this podcast => Is it fun to listen to this podcast? => how fun is it to listen to this podcast?
• It took one and a half hours to get here by bus => Did it take one and a half hours to get here by bus?
  => How long did it take to get here by bus? 
• It is hard to learn English => Is it hard to learn English? => How hard is it to learn English?
• It is good to eat pizza and Coke at the same time => Is it good to eat pizza and Coke at the same time?
  => How good is it to eat pizza and coke at the same time?

 

 

7강 3편. 5W 의문문

 

What family

- What + 명사 : 것/무엇 (보기가 전혀없는 질문일 경우)

- What kind of + 명사 : 선택지가 정해지지 않는 것 중에 어떤 종류 

• What kind of shoes do you want?(아무것도 안정해진 상태에서 질문)

- Which + 명사(의문형용사) : 어떤 (정해진 것 중 질문일 경우) 

• Which shoes do you want(앞에 선택지가 있는 상태에서 질문)

 

예제 연습 - what , what kind of+Noun, which+Noun 

1. What are you wearing? / Boots

2. What do you eat most often? / Apples

3. I have a hiccup, what should i do? / you should drink a glass of water

4. I have two books. which one do you want ? / i want that book

5. What did you buy when you went shopping? / I bout a book when i went shopping

6. What are you looking for? / A Korean-ENG dictionary

7. Could i borrow your pen for a minute? / Sure i have two. Which pen do you want?

 

 

Who family

- Who : 누가, 무엇이, 언제가, 어디가(=은는이가)가 붙으면 기존 의문사 공식과 다르게 바로 동사를 붙임 (DO,DOES안씀) 

EX

Who said that => 누가 그렇게 말했어?

Who ate dinner with that singe? => 누가 그 가수랑 저녁먹었니?

Who aksed him ? =>  그녀를 누가 물어봤니? (statement : she asked him it)

 

- Whom : 누구를, 목적어 정보를 앞으로 보내서 목적어를 물을 때 사용, who로 대신 사용하는 경우가 많음(누가, 누구를을 구분해서 해석해줘야 함)

ex

Whom does Lessun like? = Who does Lessun like? => 리썬이 누구를 좋아하니 (statement : Lesson like ooo)

by Whom is it knows ? (statement : it is known by ooo)

Whom did you see at the party

Whom should we contact in case of an emergency?

 

 

- Whose + N : 소유를 나타냄, 평서문에서 도치를 시킬 때 반드시 N이 따라와야 함

 

 

예제연습 - why where when을 써서 의문형 만들기

1) You like me  => why do you like me?

2) I started studying Eng when i was 15 => when did you start English?

3) I live in Hong Kong => When did you start to live in Hong Kong?

3) I am going to a baseball game this weekend => What are you going to do this weekend

4) I can start working in two weeks => When can you start working?

예제연습 - whose 사용하기

This is her book  => Whose book is this?

I borrowed her book => Whose book did you borrow?

I crashed her car => whose car i crahsed?

She's cat meows in the morning => whose cat meows in the moring?

His daughter is a English teacher => whose a daugheter is a English teacher ?
